I Hate Tennis

Is there anything more boring than watching tennis?
Other than tennis fans talking about tennis?
I’ve nothing much to say on the subject.
I simply don’t like tennis.
Once, while looking for a new flat,
I was being shown a small dreary place
With no redeeming features of its own,
“But Look!” said the rep pointing outside
To the other side of the road,
“If you get bored, you can always watch the tennis!”
Across the road, a sports hall,
Complete with tennis courts outside,
“I HATE TENNIS” I said and left.
Living in Germany
The headlines are often full of gossip
About Boris Becker,
Not so much about ‘tennis’,
More his sex life.
Just as boring really.
